My Story

HI LOVES! 

I’m Shelby and I have been a colorist for over a decade! I’m the one who knew since she was a child creating beautiful hair was what I wanted to spend the rest of my life doing. Growing up I watched my Great-Grandmother cut and style hair in a small one chair studio in her home. Often you could my sister and I playing beauty shop in her space. The love for hair and talking to people has always come naturally to me. I love creating beautiful colors and styles but hearing people’s stories is one of the best things about my career. Becoming a colorist is also one of those things that just came naturally to me over the years, my clients and I often joke that I could formulate in my sleep! Confession I love education and learning new techniques or the newest trends in hair. If you don’t find me somewhere in a corner researching new trends or techniques you can find me soaking up the sunshine with my son or spending Sunday afternoon at brunch with friends. I pride myself in making sure everyone feels comfortable and safe in my space to be uniquely themselves! Every day I get to do what I love creating beautiful hair and connecting with beautiful souls, I cannot wait to connect with you!
